ZANESVILLE,Ohio- The Muskingum Recreation Center has a new exercise program to help you shed those unwanted pounds you packed on this summer.

“The goal is to just get people outside,” Muskingum Recreation Center Exercise Specialist, Tony Zaleski said. “Get them moving. Try to keep people outside during the fall before winter comes and everybody’s suck inside.”
Walking For Wellness is open to all age groups, and non members of the Muskingum Recreation Center. Registration began Monday and will last until September 9th. Walking For Wellness program will begin on September 12th and will run through October 10th.
“We’re going to meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. or 4 o’ clock. We will just try to walk for an hour, try to get around three miles in, and try to log each week,” Zaleski said.
The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. For more information, email Tony Zaleski at tony@muskrec.org.
