Westfield Y offers water exercise classes for all ages and fitness levels – NJ.com


Westfield Area YMCA, 220 Clark Street, offers new water exercise classes this fall to help maximize fitness results while minimizing the stress on joints and muscles!

New classes are Aqua Boot Camp which allows participants to reach their goal in a simple yet effective high intensity interval training and Yo Pi Chi which is a fusion class that combines Yoga, Pilates and Ai Chi in shallow warm water. Other water exercise classes include: Aqua Fit, Aqua Running, Arthritis Aquatic Exercise, Shallow Water Exercise and more are all taught by instructors certified in aquatic exercise.

Classes are held in the shallow and deep sections of the larger Wallace Pool and in the warmer water of the smaller Rooke Pool. All water exercise classes are taught by instructors certified in aquatic exercise and are free to members.
